FAQs
What is the difference between a company that offers care at home and a home health agency?
The two are not exclusive. In other words, they can work together to provide complete care for seniors at home. For example, some require an agency’s medical staff for routine health monitoring, rehabilitation and hospice care. Unfortunately, medical staff members cannot stay for long periods of time without incurring a large expense. Therefore, companies like Kyle’s Care at Home can complement a medical staff’s services by offering affordable assistance with other, more routine duties that do not require medical training.
What can a Kyle’s Care at Home caregiver do?
Designed to help seniors to remain safe and comfortable in their own home for as long as possible, our service provides assistance for those who need help with their daily routine… for example, meal preparation, assistance with bathing/personal hygiene/dressing, medication reminders, help with laundry and changing bedding, exercise, transportation, shopping and running errands, light housekeeping tasks and many more activities.
How do I know my caregiver will be qualified?
You can have absolute confidence in your Kyle’s Care at Home caregiver. All prospective employees undergo a thorough reference and background check. They also are fingerprinted and drug tested. Our staff is fully insured, bonded and well trained, including specific training mandated by the State of Illinois. We feature supportive, friendly caregivers, and staff members, along with a matching service to ensure compatibility between caregivers and seniors. If at any time you are not satisfied with the care you are receiving, we will arrange for another caregiver.
Are your caregivers fully insured and bonded?
Yes. Plus, you can trust that they will pay careful attention to details and offer friendly, supportive service that is customized to your needs.
What happens if my caregiver is ill?
Typically, we have enough staff members who are able to fill in when needed on an emergency basis. We do not allow seniors in need to go without the service they want and deserve. It is our responsibility to arrange staffing, including any and all adjustments in scheduling.
How do we make payment?
Kyle’s Care at Home funding and payment options include: Private pay, long-term Care insurance, Veteran’s Assistance Program, and the Veteran’s Care Pension Program. We do not have any add-on fees for night or weekend service. Our office e-mails invoices for our service bi-monthly or monthly depending on service payment options specific to our senior clients. We offer convenient ACH direct payment transfer for worry-free payment management.
What hours are your services available?
Our services are available for just a few hours a day up to 24 hours a day, seven days a week, holidays included. Whether for a respite, temporary or permanent care, our caregivers do their best to service this area’s seniors with compassion.
